Assistant Coach is the most complete and professional app for basketball coaches to manage teams, players, games, stats, practices, exercises and coaching staffs.
You can add all your teams for each season, and consult the teams infos and seasonal stats.
Add your players infos, photo, and games performance; the app will calculate all the total stats for every single player automatically.
Add your practice plan and exercises, describing the exercise and drawing with your fingers the clipboard.
Manage your exercises archive, shared by all your teams, to easily create new practice plans more rapidly.
Add games result, and the performance of every single player after a game, the app will calculate for you players individuals stats and teams total stats.
You can also export every stats report and practice plan to PDF and send them via email, print them with AirPrint, or import them with iTunes File Sharing on your computer.

• You can create a backup and share it on your devices using the same Assistant Coach account.
• Add your colleagues with a registered Assistant Coach account and share your practice exercises and practice plans with them.
• PDF Streaming: every time you create a new PDF, the file is uploaded automatically to your account. The file will appear on your profile page on the web, and you will be able to download the last 15 PDF files created.

Without going into detail, let me begin by qualifying my remarks. I have been coaching longer than I care to admit (and at a relatively high level). I have always tried to be on the front line when it comes to organization and management of player files, drills and practices. I have even designed some of my own practice schedule programs. Suffice it to say that I have been down this road a few times. Assistant Coach seems to have pulled together all of the important aspects required to manage teams and even entire organizations with multiple teams. I believe this program can, with a few minor adjustments/additions satisfy the needs of any coach who wants to be on top of his teams status. The Suggestions: 1) The ability to sync between devices or save/mail the database and open it on a second device (iPad to iPhone and vice-versa) 2) The ability to import data/names from Contacts If that works, and the program cost a little more, then so be it. I think those who are serious about wanting to have control of, and quick access to, their information can accept that. I have tried just about every option on the market... Some kept good attendance data, some kept track of practices, etc. But I never really had one that "really" helped me to: • Write the practice • Select the drills that were best suited for the group that was practicing that day • Kept the practice moving and on time • Instantly make notes to better prepare for the next session ° Print and Share Practices ° Record Games and Player Statistics ° Make Videos of Drills and/or use a Chalkboard Assistant Coach has helped me achieve all the above. In addition, I am able to write practices on the fly ... The only Thing missing is a Timer that runs in conjunction with the Practice Session ... but I can improvise for that Ritz Ingram Head Coach and Program Director, FT Fulda Roadrunners / Germany I only hope that the developer continues to work on his App... Overall this app is not bad, how ever it is very restrictive! You are not able to edit any of the field names. For example instead of "Regular Season" I cannot edit to show AAU season. It would also be nice if it could be upgraded to be used as a stat book to be used during games as opposed to have to input stats after the games. Last upgrade should be an option for stats for an individual player complete with picture for recruiting purposes. Thanks
I find this app very useful because I can take many things that I need in this one app. It does so many of the things that I need that have not been done by any app. Recommended.
This app is leaps and bounds farther than anyone elses out there. This is the best app that I have found for the things that I need to do as a coach. Most apps for basketball coaches that allow you make plays or draw drills are very difficult and complicated to use and are more frustrating then just doing it on paper. Its the most comprehensive app I have found by far!
